The 1980s were some of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers busiest years. But it wouldn’t be successful for just the Heartbreakers and their collaborations with Bob Dylan. During the mid to late 80s, Tom Petty found himself a member of one of the world’s most illustrious supergroups: the Traveling Wilburys including Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, and George Harrison. Petty would also collaborate with Jeff Lynne for his very first solo album, Full Moon Fever.
